A theoretical and practical course on anatomy, pathology and surgery of the temporomandibular joint took place in Naples. The course was organized by Dr. Parascandolo, director of the operational maxillofacial surgery at the Cardarelli Hospital. Dr. Sembronio gave lectures on the etiopathogenesis of temporomandibular joint disorders and techniques of minimally invasive surgery (arthroscopy and arthrocentesis). The various surgical techniques were performed on the anatomical preparations of the cadavers by the teachers and by the course participants.
